Skimmed milk powder is obtained by evaporating the water from the skimmed milk using the process of heat treatment. The spray drying process is also used for the extraction of milk powder from milk by keeping it in hot air chamber. In the chamber the milk particles loose the moisture content thus resulting in milk powder. The full fat from the milk is utilized while processing and the resulted powder is ensured free from added flavour and artificial colour.
